Renishaw 2000 Raman Spectrometer

Raman spectroscopy is to measure the characteristic vibrations of compounds that are not IR active. The Renishaw System 2000 Raman Spectrometer is equipped with a laser beam of 514 nm and a CCD detector to provide direct 2-D Raman imaging and Raman spectroscopy. The spectral resolution and spatial resolution are 1 cm-1 and 1 mm lateral, respectively, in the spectral range of 200-9000cm-1. An in-situ reaction cell is also attached to monitor the intermediates of reaction.
