The NUS Commencement 2019 Trifecta: 3 ONDL members awarded for their research

18/7/2019. The NUS Science Commencement ceremony 2019 saw 3 award winners from ONDL. ONDL PhD student Mervin ANG was awarded the Singapore National Institute of Chemistry Gold Medal for Most Outstanding PhD Thesis in Chemistry. He was also a Valedictorian of the ceremony.

ONDL PhD student Cindy TANG was also awarded the Wang Gungwu Medal and Prize. The Wang Gungwu Medial and Prize (Natural Sciences) is awarded to a single candidate for the best PhD thesis in the Natural Sciences.

ONDL Honours student SEAH Zong Long was also awarded the Lijen Industrial Development Medal for the best undergraduate academic project in Physics.
