Introduction

As we begin the 21st century, computer literacy will undoubtedly become prerequisite in whatever career a student chooses. The ways we learn and teach in tertiary education are being changed. Students should acquire the ability to navigate around the cyberworld. This computer course is therefore customized to bring up the IT competency, computer science literacy and programming ability of SM2-4th batch to at least the level of their local counterparts. Our main purpose is to equip 139 students with the essential IT and computer skills so that they will not be handicapped while studying in NUS/NTU.
