Spark the Gap 2022: Bell Nonlocality

Spark The Gap 2022
Spark The Gap 2022 NUS Physics Society

With this year's Nobel prize in Physics released, NUS Physics Society will be bringing Spark the Gap back!

This year, we are honoured to invite Prof. Valerio Scarani to give a talk on Bell nonlocality: when interpretations become first testable, and then become technology. Come and learn what the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics was about, and the subsequent developments, in which NUS researchers were much involved! There will be a subsequent visit to Prof. Christian Kurtsiefer's lab, where you will be able to see those exciting experiments performed in the fascinating quantum world!

Students of all majors are welcome to join us! No prior knowledge in this field is required as we will cover the background of this topic. The event is completely free, so please come and join us to explore more on quantum mysteries!

Date & Time: 27th Oct 5 - 7.30pm
Venue: S16-03-0506
